Terms of Sale & Use
Albacastra is not yet selling. Until the first harvest is released, this site provides information and a mailing list, and these terms cover that use.

Using this site
You may read, share and link to this site freely. You may not copy its text, photography, label artwork or brand marks for commercial use without our written permission.
The harvest list
Submitting your email address adds you to the list for the first harvest. It is not an order, not a reservation and not a contract, and no payment is taken or requested. We may close, pause or limit the list at any time. You can leave it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link.
What we say about the product
Descriptions on this site refer to a harvest that has not yet taken place. Polyphenol content, acidity, colour and tasting character vary from one harvest to the next and are confirmed by independent laboratory analysis after pressing. Where this site describes the intended character of the oil, that is an expectation and not a guarantee. Final figures will be published with the lot and printed on the label.
Photography on this site includes visualisations produced before bottling. Once the first harvest is bottled, product images will be photographs of the actual product.
Nothing on this site is a health claim. Olive oil is a food, not a medicine or a treatment for any condition.
Orders, once they open
When ordering opens, a contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation, not when you place the order. If we cannot fulfil an order — the edition sells out, a lot fails analysis, or a price is listed in error — we will tell you and refund you in full. Shipping, cancellation and return terms are set out in Shipping & Returns.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Rights Act. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the day you use the site.
