Shipping & Returns
Nothing is for sale yet. The terms below describe how we intend to ship and handle returns once the first harvest is released in January 2027. They will be confirmed before the first order is taken.
When the first harvest ships
The olives are picked in November 2026 in Dereköy, Akhisar. The oil is cold extracted the same day, rested, analysed by an independent laboratory, and bottled in December. The first bottles are expected to reach the United Kingdom and be available to order in January 2027.
Joining the list does not place an order, does not reserve a bottle and takes no payment. It only means we will write to you when the harvest is ready.
Where we ship
At launch we ship to addresses in the United Kingdom. Other destinations will follow; the list will hear first.
Delivery times and cost
Once orders open, UK delivery is expected to take two to three working days on a tracked service. Final carrier, cost and any free-delivery threshold will be published on this page before the first order is accepted.
Olive oil is shipped in protective packaging designed for glass. If a bottle arrives damaged, photograph the box and the bottle before unpacking further and email us — we will replace it or refund you in full, and we do not ask you to return broken glass.
Cancelling an order
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it and return it for a refund, without giving a reason. The 14 days run from the day the goods reach you. To cancel, email hello@albacastra.com — a clear statement is enough.
We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of proof that you have sent them, to the payment method you used.
Returning food
Olive oil is a food product and a sealed bottle is protected for health and hygiene reasons. If the seal has been broken, the statutory right to cancel no longer applies. An unopened, undamaged bottle can be returned within the 14-day window; the cost of return postage is yours unless the item was faulty or wrongly sent.
If something is wrong
If the oil is faulty, damaged or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act apply in full and are not affected by anything on this page. Email us and we will put it right.
