Who we are

Albacastra is a brand of DURMUSS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17451957, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. For anything in this notice, write to hello@albacastra.com.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, DURMUSS LTD is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you submit it to join the harvest list.
• The date you joined, so we know when consent was given.

We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or date of birth. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Nothing is collected if you simply read the page.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your email address for a single purpose: to tell you when the first harvest has been bottled and when it becomes available. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are processed by our form provider, which stores the message on our behalf and forwards it to us. They act as a processor under our instructions and do not use your address for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade email addresses, and we do not share them with advertisers.

Some providers store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until twenty-four months after the launch of the first harvest, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we delete the address rather than keeping it on a suppression list, unless we are required to keep a record.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@albacastra.com — there is no charge, and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics. Fonts are served from our own domain. If we add analytics or any other tracking in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell the people on the list directly.
